- Aug 2026 PopSmart Clerk The first Clerk version shipped and then went private, but clear merchant demand never showed up. The product has now fully pivoted, so the original AI store-clerk version belongs in the graveyard.
- Mar 2025 Needles.AI Free to use and run on the cheapest hardware I could hand-build from ex-mining parts — but the model layer had become a capital game, and you cannot thrift your way to a training cluster.
- Feb 2016 MeAri A post's clock rose with likes and fell with dislikes — but with no crowd to vote, nothing earned more time, so the feed curated itself down to an empty room.
