After Claude Startups approved my new application, I could finally see what the program includes inside the member dashboard.
The short version: the useful part is not one large credit. It is a combination of Claude access, API credit, technical support, and third-party tooling offers that can reduce the first year of building costs.
The core Anthropic benefits
The dashboard shows three direct program benefits:
- Claude Team for 12 months, with up to $625 per month off. The offer has a two-seat minimum.
- $1,000 in API credits. The dashboard says the credits expire 180 days after they are granted.
- Weekly Applied AI office hours with Anthropic’s Applied AI team, covering architecture, evaluations, and cost.

For a small AI product team, the office hours may be as useful as the credits. Model spend is visible. Bad architecture, weak evaluations, and avoidable cost decisions are harder to see early.
The Claude Startup Stack
The dashboard also includes third-party offers. The larger or longer offers shown to me include:
- ClickHouse: $5,000 in Cloud credits
- ElevenLabs: 12 months free plus 33 million characters
- Fashion: three months of Pro, with up to $3,000 in AI credits
- Viktor: up to $1,500 free for three months
- Linear: six months of Business
- Hex: six months of Enterprise
- Granola: three months of Business for up to 10 seats
- Lovable: four months off an annual Business plan
- Runable: $300 in credits plus 50% off the Max plan
There are also smaller credits or discounts from Attention, Augment Code, Emergent, Firecrawl, Gamma, Retell AI, and Retool.

These stack benefits are provided by independent third-party companies, not Anthropic. Each offer has its own terms, and availability can change. The dashboard is a snapshot, not a permanent price list, so anyone applying should verify the current terms before planning a budget around them.
The practical value
The program does not remove the need to choose tools carefully. A discount on software I do not need is still unnecessary software.
But the useful offers are concrete: lower Claude access costs, API room for experiments, technical review time, and credits across the data, development, audio, and operations stack. For a team already building with Claude, that is a practical first-year package rather than a generic startup badge.
