I have submitted two more PopSmart apps for Shopify review.

One is an upsell bundle app. The other is a size chart and recommender.

If Shopify approves both on schedule, I plan to launch them in October 2026. PopSmart would then move from one Shopify app to a family of three.

That is the plan. It is not the current state. Today both apps are still in review, so there are no launch links and no claim that they are live.

The two apps

The upsell bundle app handles a familiar merchant job: grouping products into an offer without turning the storefront into a mess of unrelated prompts. The scope is intentionally narrow. It has one job and should be judged by whether merchants can use it without a long setup.

The second app brings a size chart and a recommender into one product. Sizing information and recommendations both sit close to the same shopper decision, so I wanted them to live in the same app rather than in separate tools.

I am keeping the detailed feature lists out of this note until Shopify review is complete. The useful information today is the category of each app and where they stand: built, submitted, and waiting for review.

From one PopSmart app to three

PopSmart has been a single-app family until now. If these reviews clear, that finally changes.

Three apps do not prove demand. They do give me three concrete merchant jobs to test instead of trying to stretch one product across every problem. Each app can earn its place through installs, continued use, support questions, and the work merchants actually repeat.

That is a better state for PopSmart. The family becomes easier to understand, and each product remains narrow enough to judge honestly.

A separate research service

I am also developing an independent web research service for small ecommerce operators.

Small stores often face the same research questions as larger companies, but they do not have an analyst or research team waiting for the assignment. The hard part is rarely finding another webpage. It is turning scattered sources into a brief that helps someone make a decision.

That is the gap I am working on.

This service is separate from the PopSmart Shopify apps. It will stand on its own and is still in development. I am mentioning it now because it is the next project worth watching, not because it is ready to sell.

I will share more when I can show the actual workflow instead of describing a promise.

The next checkpoint

First, the two apps need to pass Shopify review. If they do, the target is an October 2026 launch. After that, merchant behavior will decide what deserves more work.

For now, the honest status is simple: two PopSmart apps are under review, a three-app family is close, and a separate research service is taking shape behind them.
